Marblex S.A. is a second-generation family business founded in 1975 by Mathew Chatzis and followed by his son Dimitris Chatzis.
In 2006, the Company merged with D. Grammatopoulos S.A., resulting in G.H. Smili which is actively involved in projects in Greece and in the promotion of Greek marble abroad.
In 2020, G.H. Smili has changed into Marblex S.A., but we have retained the same VAT No., premises, address, as well as the same people you already know.
The projects are undertaken by a new company, which has retained the same trade name Smili and premises, but which has no relation whatsoever with Marblex and the old VAT No.
The Company, established as a whole sales distributor and manufacturer of all the finest Greek marble, disposes privately owned facilities in the area of Koropi, Athens, 4 km from the Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos (AIA).
